Lake Erie isn’t a big tourist destination – the weather is very fickle around here. But if you’re ever driving through the American heartland, I’d suggest you do stop at one of the five Great Lakes. I’ve heard that Michigan’s Upper Peninsula along Lake Superior is breathtaking during autumn. I’d like to see for myself one day.
I’ll have to make time for the trip in the coming years. My Spanish isn’t very good, but I think I could get by. And I do have a friend who lives just outside of Oslo. We used to work together on the waterfront here in Cleveland. He retired and moved back to Norway.

Wow thank you for the suggestions! ❤ We live in Spain and sometimes Norway so it's a bit far to travel so it needs a lot of preparation.
